Veterinarian: Do you have a Passion for Exotics? Full- or part-time veterinarian needed to meet the demands of our growing small animal and exotics practice in Menomonee Falls, WI. We are looking for a 6th doctor who has an interest in exotics to join us. Our practice is approximately 70% small animal and 30% exotic. We are located in a growing northern Milwaukee suburb. We moved into a new state-of-the-art 6400 sq ft facility in 2012. We have computerized medical records, digital radiology–including digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, avian endoscopy and a full on-site laboratory. We have a terrific staff of Certified veterinary technicians, assistants as well as receptionists that make “practice” more efficient and fun. Client Service Advocate: We want you to be the “face” of our practice! We are looking for team members to join our staff as a full-time Client Service Advocate. Working in the animal healthcare field can be one of the most rewarding career opportunities you’ll ever have. So if you only have experience in the human side of medicine, then no worries. Resort Attendant: If you would like to be part of a talented team of professionals, have a desire to care for animals as you learn about them and veterinary medicine we are interested in talking to you.
Our Resort Attendants provide tender loving care and meets the essential physical and emotional needs of pets that are staying in our facility while their owners are away. The species cared for include cats, small mammals, birds and the “odd” reptile. Typical daily responsibilities include feeding and watering animals, cleaning and disinfecting cages and observing animals for unusual behavior or illness, recording information for medical records and preparing animals for discharge.
The Attendant is also responsible for general routine cleaning, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, moping and laundry. The ideal candidate should be an eager animal-lover with the desire to work with a variety of animals and must have maturity and the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences – clients, veterinarians and other hospital staff. A desire to be part of a team is important.
Any related experience is a plus; we will train the highly motivated candidate who wants to learn and grow.
The Attendant must be at least 18 years of age and must have transportation and be flexible — available to work mornings, evenings as well as weekends and holidays. (If older than 16 years a High school diploma is required). For High School Students can take “youth options” during the school year and request AM’s off to work the morning shift.
