Jaime grew up in south-eastern WI. She worked on her father’s dairy farm from a young age which instilled in her a love for all animals. She has always had a curiosity for science and originally began working toward her wildlife ecology major at UW-Madison. After her third year, she realized research wasn’t for her and desired a more hands-on husbandry/nursing role. She soon learned about the vet technology field and transferred to MATC – Madison to complete her degree.
She has a husband and two daughters, and her home is ruled by a tabby named Tucker—affectionately known as “Tuck Tuck”—who ensures that she wakes up each morning at 5am. Her family enjoys walking together, traveling, camping, and are very active at their church.
