Dr. Esteban Barajas

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Esteban Barajas is a graduate from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, originally from the suburbs of Chicago. He initially acquired an interest in veterinary medicine by helping his grandfathers tend to their dairy herds in Mexico. As he progressed through his education, he developed an interest in exotic animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He loves working with all animals, but especially loves working with reptiles. 

He currently shares a home with Link, an Alaskan Malamute, Darmani, a Native American Indian Dog, Zelda, a Golden Retriever, Ganon, a Black-Throated Monitor, Piccolo, a Central American Boa Constrictor, Hershey, a Crested Gecko, Gohma, an Arizon Blonde Tarantula, Manhandla, a Curly Hair Tarantula, and Skulltula, a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula. In his spare time he likes playing video games, binge streaming TV shows, exploring new places to eat, going out on his kayak, and exploring in the woods. He is also fluent in Spanish.
