Pet Resort Attendant
Resort Attendant: If you would like to be part of a talented team of professionals, have a desire to care for animals as you learn about them and veterinary medicine we are interested in talking to you.
Our Resort Attendants provide tender loving care and meet the essential physical and emotional needs of pets that are staying in our facility while their owners are away. The species cared for include dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Typical daily responsibilities include feeding and watering animals, cleaning and disinfecting cages and observing animals for unusual behavior or illness, recording information for medical records and preparing animals for discharge.
The Attendant is also responsible for general routine cleaning, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry. The ideal candidate should be an eager animal-lover with the desire to work with a variety of animals and must have the maturity and the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences – clients, veterinarians, and other hospital staff. A desire to be part of a team is important.
Any related experience is a plus; we will train the highly motivated candidate who wants to learn and grow.
Applicants must meet Wisconsin state labor law requirements, have transportation and be flexible — available to work mornings, evenings as well as weekends and holidays. See full Pet Resort Job Description.
