Brook-Falls Pet Resort & Doggy Day Care Says “Thank You – Take a Rest; We’ll Care for Your Dog”
Menomonee Falls, WI- March 27, 2020 – Brook-Falls Pet Resort & Doggy Day Care is sending out a message of appreciation and concern to the Menomonee Falls/Brookfield and surrounding area healthcare workers and first responders. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Pet Resort will offer up to 5 days of either half or full-day doggy daycare of fun and games for their furry friends at no charge.
“It’s our way of saying “Thank You” and to honor those who are in the trenches every day working so hard risking their lives for us,” said Dr. Jennifer Bloss, owner, and veterinarian.
Now through April 30, 2020, these heroes on the COVID-19 frontlines can drop off their pet at Brook-Falls Day Care while they get some much-deserved rest after selflessly taking care of others. Brook-Falls will lovingly care for their four-legged companions while they go home to relax and recharge.
Healthcare professionals and first responders are encouraged to act swiftly due to capacity restrictions and a registration process that includes a doggy temperament test, proof of up-to-date healthcare requirements, and a valid work I.d.

COVID-19 and Wisconsin’s “Safer at Home” Order
Currently, there is no known link between COVID-19 and pets. According to a recent CDC report, no animals in the United States have been identified as being infected. Additionally, there is no evidence to suggest that cats, dogs, or other family pets can contract or spread the virus.
On March 24, 2020, Governor Evers issued a “Safer at Home” order stating that all Wisconsinites must stay home as much as possible, however “essential” businesses may continue to operate. Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital & the Pet Resort are categorized as essential: you may leave your home to obtain necessary veterinary care and supplies for your pet. Pet boarding and daycare is an essential business and operation that may remain open.
During the “Safer at Home” order, Brook-Falls Pet Resort will stay fully operational. To maintain the safety of their team and your safety as well, Brook-Falls is offering valet service for clients where the team will be notified of your arrival and will then have someone come out to get your dog.
