Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital & Exotic Care would like to welcome 4th-year extern Joshua Drees.
Joshua Drees, is a fourth-year veterinary student from Michigan State University who will be coming to Brook-Falls for an externship from January 2nd through the 20th.
After completing his degree in May, Joshua hopes to become a small animal general practitioner with interest in exotics and wildlife.
Joshua’s passion for exotics and wildlife began when he worked at Brook-Falls as a veterinary assistant for several years before going to veterinary school!
Throughout his time at MSU, Joshua has been active as a Wildlife Ward Coordinator for the veterinary hospital, which has given him an excellent opportunity to begin managing wildlife cases.
During his time at Brook-Falls this spring, Joshua hopes to gain top-notch experience managing cases of a wide variety of species in a private practice setting and to gain more experience treating the unique needs of exotic patients.
Also, Joshua also hopes to cultivate his Internal Medicine skills in the area of interpretation of clinical pathology results, as well as expand his surgical and dental experiences.
